The Beautiful and the Damned

"At any rate she is a monster, without being a myth, which is rather unfair."
— Oscar Wilde

About

What kind of blog is this? This is by and large a book/lit blog. I am an aspiring illustrator and to me illustrations and photography are every bit as important, inspiring and wonderful as the words themselves. This is a peaceful place, I try to keep it free from clutter and snark.

About little old me: \my favorite book is Jane Eyre, my favorite illustrator is Arthur Rackham, favorite artists Van Gogh and Robert Batmen.

Things I love: Baking, classic cars, Supernatural, Sherlock, Merlin, roasted red pepper hummas, thunder storms, the 50’s, the Victorian Era, mist and fog, Diana Cameras, the (non) color grey, watercolors, willow trees and trains. All things change on a daily basis (really, check this about me every so often)
